I've had it with these idiots!

Quote:

If the Toronto Maple Leafs fire GM John Ferguson Jr., they won't put just anybody on the Hogtown hotseat.

The talk among league executives is the Leafs won't make a move on the GM front unless they secure a big name -- such as Mark Messier, Steve Yzerman or Ron Francis, a former Leaf -- to take the reins.

"The Leafs need to have somebody with star power," said an NHL executive.

"If they're going to put somebody into that seat who hasn't done it before, they need to have a marquee name."

The Dallas Stars' decision to hire a star in Brett Hull as co-GM alongside Les Jackson could become a trend.

Former Leafs goalie Glen Healy, currently an analyst on TSN, has also been mentioned as a top candidate if Ferguson is fired.

Francis might make the most sense because he has been working in the Carolina front office.
Mark Messier???? Steve Yzerman???? (He'd never leave Detroit.) Ron Francis???? Glenn Freaking Healey???? THIS is who you want to be your GM?? After Ferguson proved so ****ing overmatched he put together a terrible, terrible team? Yeah, so why not bring in another inexperienced GM? Oh, I know why not: because the team will continue to suck. Fire Ferguson! Fire Peddie! Fire everyone! And then hire someone who knows what they're doing!

I hate everyone involved with the Maple Leafs at this point.
