People who have a mentality that they aren't intimidated and want to win aren't idiots.

He can either say, "Yeah, I'm an idiot, I was wrong, the Celtics are unbeatable, the Knicks suck" or what...give Frank Isola the silent treatment?

I don't think you understand the concept of an interviewer asking questions and an interviewee replying to them.
