If the Sox get this deal done fast, that drives up the market on Haren. If the Sox can play the two off each other, then it will be who can give up the number one starter for less. I think that's why they've made a pass at Ben Sheets, from what I have read.

I think you'll see Haren end up in pinstripes for the same deal they were willing to do for Santana.
