Nice work, Sug.
Here's what I've got for the Blazers:
1989-90 59-23 3rd seed (2nd best in conference),
10 game winning streak, 2x 3 game losing streaks, 2x 2L
1990-91 63-19 1st seed,
16W,
11W, 4L, 3x 2L
1997-98 46-36 6th seed,
11W, 5L, 3x 3L, 3x 2L
1999-00 59-23 3rd seed (2nd best in conference),
11W, 3L, 2x 2L
2000-01 50-32 7th seed,
10W, 5L, 2x 3L, 3x 2L
2001-02 49-33 6th seed,
12W, 6L, 2x 3L, 5x 2L
2007-08 15-12, incomplete season,
10W, 5L, 4L, 3L
Notable:
- In no season other than this season in which the Blazers had a 10 game winning streak have they had more than one losing streak of 4 games or more.
- The 1976-77 Championship team never won more than 6 in a row. They finished 49-33.
- The 1977-78 Blazers had six winning streaks of 6 games or more. Their best streak was 8. They started the season 50-10 (including all of those streaks) and were on pace to be 68-14 before losing Bill Walton.
- The 1987-88 Blazers had two 9 game winning streaks. They finished 53-29 and were the fourth seed in the playoffs.
Losing Streaks of 10 or more:
1971-72 18-64, missed the playoffs,
13 game losing streak (had five losing streaks of 7 or more games, won 3 in a row once and 2 in a row twice)
1979-80 38-44, 6th seed,
10L (had a 9 game winning streak)
1985-86 40-42, 6th seed,
12L (could never win more than 4 in a row)
2005-06 21-61, missed the playoffs,
11L (had a 4 game winning streak)
The 1972-73 & 1973-74 Blazers had two 9 game losing streaks each, finishing 21-61 & 27-55.
