.....Dirk Nowitzki wasn't worried after the Mavericks failed to score a touchdown for the second time in three games. He noted that Dallas didn't put together a typical game plan for the Redskins, because the Mavericks wanted to keep some things in their pocket for a potential playoff rematch.
....."We held some things back," said Stackhouse, who completed seven of 16 passes for 86 yards and a pick in the loss. "We're more than confident going into the playoffs."
...."I'm not concerned about anything except this next ballgame coming up," Howard said, "and I think we'll be ready to play."
...."They deserve (the win)," Head Coach Avery Johnson said. "We’re concentrating on who we’re playing next. It definitely won’t look like it did today, I promise you that."
...Tim Mcmahon - The Mavericks pinpointed their problem during today's game. They really didn't give a hoot what happened as long as they didn't suffer any more injuries.
...."The word for us was uninspired," Avery Johnson said. "It shows you when one team is fired up and the other one isn't. Basically, I didn't get our team ready to play."
Added Dirk Nowitzki: "You saw what happens out there when one team plays with that much emotion and the other one really doesn’t. Obviously, we didn't match their intensity level, and that's the story."
"We didn't play with intensity, and they did," Jason Terry said. "And it showed."
