I don't see why you say he would not fit the team mentality. He has never had any issues on or off the court and has not been an ego type of person. He has been asked (and paid) to be the teams first option and does everything he is asked to do. He is an incredible scorer who can shoot (like others on our team) but can also slash and play very well without the ball, something that is very needed on the Blazers. He can also drive like Roy or Jarrett which will be needed once/if Jack is gone as Jones/Webster are not very good at creating their own shots and Outlaw is just learning this skill. Redd is also a good scorer in clutch time, scoring 46.6 points per 48 in clutch play (based on last 5 minutes of play and overtimes). He would also be another solid Vet that can be relied on by our youth. His D is his biggest drawback but i would expect Nate to be able to help him develop a little in this area. And as others have stated, with Oden, Aldridge, Jones and Outlaw at the Forward and Center positions, and with Roy beginning to become a good defender, I think having one weak defender would not be the that bad considering all the positives that Redd would bring.
