Bogut
There's been talk all over the board about Andrew Bogut and how big of a bust he has been. I will say that as a #1 pick he looks like a bust right now. BUT we need to look at the players he's played with.
Mo Williams is not exactly a prototypical PG. There is no doubt he is shoot first, shoot second and maybe he'll pass third.
Michael Redd also isn't a distributing guard. He takes the meaning of shooting guard seriously.
With these two guards not distributing the ball or feeding it into the post like we need them to Bogut will never be the 20 and 10 guy we'd like him to become. These two are also not very good defenders which doesn't help Bogut like they should.
The solution needs to be found. One of those guys have to go for a more defensive minded, distributing guard. Otherwise, Bogut will never be more then a 15/8 guy at best. Bogut's defense has improved this year as he has added shotblocking to his repitoire. The problem is he's never been higher then the 4th option on a team. I don't think he can carry a team but he sure can be a helluva 2nd option. He has very good post moves and if I remember correctly at Utah he had a decent jumpshot, which he hasn't shown to be very good here.
I would suggest keeping Yi and Bogut as our franchise players because Yi can be a very good outside shooting 4-man to give Bogut the space to move.
One thing is for sure this team isn't going anywhere with what they have.
