Re: Game Thread, Golden State (+1) @ Milwaukee 1/19/08, 7:30
Quote:
Teams: Milwaukee Bucks (16-23) vs. Golden State Warriors (24-17).
When: 7:30 tonight.
Where: Bradley Center.
Broadcasts: TV - FSN Wisconsin cable. Radio - AM-620.
About the Warriors: This will be the final stop in a four-games-in-five-nights trip for Golden State. Entering play Friday in Chicago, Golden State was 12-0 when holding teams below 100 points. Including the playoffs, the Warriors have won 25 straight games when giving up 99 points or fewer. The Warriors were 11-6 in December, marking the first time they posted a winning record in that month since they were 10-5 in 1992-'93.
PLAYER TO WATCH
STEPHEN JACKSON, Warriors
In his ninth season, Jackson is having a career year. He is averaging 20.5 points, 4.6 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 1.3 steals in 39.4 minutes per game. His scoring average is a career high, as is his playing time, and his rebound and assist averages would be the second-highest of his career. The Warriors went 1-6 when Jackson served a seven-game suspension at the start of the season.
