Mihm is very important to the Lakers as a backup C. He started to look pretty decent this year before quickly getting injured. I don't know why people forget how good he was as a C a couple years ago. I understand the skepticism, but he could be really important in the playoffs this year if he's healthy. A frontline of Odom/Radman at the 3, Gasol/Turiaf at the 4, and Bynum/Mihm at the 5 is a great mix of shot blocking, defense, shooting, and post scoring. No team wants to face that in the postseason. That starting frontcourt is 6'10" and or taller, too, with the backups being 6'9", 6'8", and 7'0".

Mihm is an important piece, whether people here want to believe it or not, it's true. I hope he can revitalize his career with the Lakers. He has a player option this summer, so he'll definitely be here in 08-09.
