This thread is pretty pointless. Winning the slam dunk contest means nothing, other then just winning the slam dunk contest.
Should not use the dunk contest at all when comparing someone to someone else in terms of who's better. The only thing Howard gained over Yao in this is that he won a dunk contest and Yao didn't.
