2.) Based on other posts I have seen from you on this forum you're a big fan of Wilt Chamberlain and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, as well as several other former Lakers players.
I'm a big fan of every great basketball player. So What?
As a matter of fact, i'm on the minority if posters saying that if Larry hadn't broke his back, he would be in the discussion for GOAT. And i'm the greatest Hondo fan around. Like i've sai, you gotta read more.

3.) This discussion started over you misinterpreting HKF's comments about Tim Duncan's place as one of the best big men in NBA history, and take a level of indignance with Duncan's name near Chamberlain's and Abdul-Jabbar's in any context.
There's no "misinterpretating2 about it. Dunca is a Top-20 All-time player. And one of the greatest 5/6 big men players around. He is just not on par with Wilt and Kareem.

4.) You said you would not have a problem if HKF compared Tim Duncan with Bill Russell (even though Russell is generally considered Wilt's and Kareem's peer).
That's because of the similarities of their games: defense, rebounding, and not volume-scorers. And Timmy never player with something like 10 HOFers.

5.) Then you start inserting Shaquille O'Neal (another former Laker) into some context of this conversation.
Peak wise, Shaq blows Duncan out of the water. And it began in Orlando, NOT Los Angeles.
You should better not jump into conclusions.

It sounds like a lot of L.A. Laker commonalities, to me.
That's only because you are biased yourself.
I used to support Karl Malone (a non-Laker) as being greater than Duncan. I can't do it anymore.
I habe my doubts about grading him ahead of Bob Pettit (another non-Laker), but that's just me...

In my book, it's:
1- Wilt (a non-Laker);
2- Kareem;
3- Russell (a non-Laker)
4- Shaq;
5- Hakeem (a non-Laker)
5- Duncan.
