He's missed 4 games this year and has been playing on a jacked up ankle the whole season.

He was routinely hurt in Toronto as well.

It doesn't really matter how many games he plays though, he got paid he's happy. He's back to the lazy Vince of old before he got his big deal.

My point was - you don't rebuild a team by trading for a 31 year old jumpshooter that has a shooting percentage in Troy Murphy's area. You don't rebuild a team by picking up a contract worth 45 mil over the next 3 years.

Trades like that are the reason we are in rebuilding mode, the front office got reckless with trades and picked up guys with ridiculous salaries and guys that didn't fit the system we had in place (I still believe Carlisle is an excellent coach with the right people).

Trading for Vince Carter would have been a disaster. Plain and simple.
