I'm sure many can vouch for me here, that while I am passionate about some things, I don't show homerism towards Syracuse. Since you seem to remember all my posts you would see that I was more disappointed by Drexel's exclusion last year then Syracuse

Last year, I felt that syracuse should've been in while JN thought otherwise. Yes their OOC wasn't as good if I remember correctly but I felt that their conference play was good enough to get in.
My biggest gripe from the Big East teams has always been mediocre OOC games. I remember last year UCONN would play horrible OOC teams as well as Syracuse. Last year syracuse didn't even leave the state of NY until January.
This year is different because big east teams have at least played some very average to good teams. Which is all they need to do, is play some average to good teams. No need to play the likes of Duke, UNC, UCLA unless its through an early season tournament or a contract.
