The touch after contact we're seeing now is largely against smaller opponents. Scoring after contact against smaller players is a lot easier in college and we've seen that time and again when the transition is made haven't we? His post moves are insanely basic and maybe he just needs to be taught more, who knows but I doubt they're not trying to teach him more. I think he just has a very clear ceiling.
I'm sure he'll be fine as a 2nd round pick/role player I just would question if he goes higher than that.
