I feel he could have seized the moment when they got the offensive rebound with around 13 seconds left. You have an advantage there since the defense is scrambling to get the rebound and is not in position. Kidd could very well have taken advantage of the situation and found an easy scoring opportunity. Instead, Terry kept dribbling the ball and had to go for a highly contested layup in traffic. This is not to say that Kidd would have guaranteed a victory. The bottomline is that you want to, at least, put him in and see what happens because in the playoffs this is going to be a scenario they will have to face against quality teams.
