Avery's decision is historic because it might be the first time in 10 years or so that Kidd was on the bench with the game on the line. Anyway, it is just one game. Maybe this will fire Kidd up and he'll start playing off the charts. One thing is for sure, even though #2 said he supported the coach's decision, he is certainly not happy about it and it is going to impact the coach-player dynamic in a negative way.
