Re: Your Thoughts ...

Quote:
1)Donald Sterling says he supports Mike Dunleavy as the coach and won't fire him
Does this surprise anyone? We have been saying this for a year and a half. Why would sterling eat such a huge contract. The only way it works out is if dunleavvy signs another deal meaning we wont owe him the money, but no way does he make NEAR what hes making with us, so even in the best case scenario, sterling has to eat millions. Not likely to happen. (but then again, who would have thought sterling would have allowed the things hes allwoed with spending habits before?)

2)Dunleavy says the possibility of Brand and Maggette both leaving doesn't worry him
Doesnt worry me either. With those guys we are going to do nothing. WIthout them we have a chance at something. Either way no sense to worry about it, both things dont exactly doom us to mediocrity, while neither scenarios guarantee us sucess.

3)Dunleavy says he would be open to trading our draft pick
I havent seen this quote, but first of all, we already know this indirectly, as its been reported dunleavvvy wanted to trade our pick for miller which would have been pure stupidity. I myself would be fine with trading the pick if it was for a superstar player.

4)The Clippers get beat down by the Lakers by 40 points
Dont know what this has to do with anything? Any surprise that one of the best teams in the nba beat one of the worst teams in the nba by a big margin?

Quote:
It's not a coincidence the game after Sterling's pronouncement of support for Mike Dunleavy, the Clippers put out the most pathetic effort I have ever seen from an NBA basketball team.
Um. yes it most certainly is coincidence, since the two have nothing to do with each other. That wasnt near the most pathetic effort of a team probably even in that week. Seriously, what did you expect?

Quote:
This team quit on Mike Dunleavy a long time ago, and last night was a statement that nobody wants to play for him. At the top of the list is Corey Maggette, who we can say goodbye to because Mike Dunleavy isn't going anywhere.
Now i thought you had said you were quoting factual statements? Theres nothing to prove something like this, and there was for SURE no statement made. Its amazing how people here are surprised that were loosing, and by big margains. has anyone stopped to take a look at our lineup lately, and the healthieness of the guys were putting on the floor?
