Detroit are still the team to beat because they are the team that has proven to be successful in the Playoffs and they are still near the top. You look at the other teams in the East, there's Toronto and Orlando with a first round exit. Last year's ECF Champs, you know how crap they are. Detroit is the team to beat. Spurs are the team to beat in the West.

They have PROVEN something.

For all you know the Celtics Big 3 could like choke in the regular season. That's why Dallas wasn't the team to beat last season. It's still San Antonio.
Garnett, Pierce, Allen, Posey, House, Cassell, and Brown aren't veterans?

Detroit is not the team to beat because they are the team that has choked twice in the ECF the last two years.

The Celtics have proven that they are the best defensive team in the league and have the best chance at a ring. Look at the record and look at how good they are.

The reason Dallas choked is because they had no leader and they are too soft. Dirk is soft. Garnett and Pierce, the leaders of this team, are nowhere near soft.
