Detroit is not the team to beat because they are the team that has choked twice in the ECF the last two years.

The Celtics have proven that they are the best defensive team in the league and have the best chance at a ring. Look at the record and look at how good they are.

The reason Dallas choked is because they had no leader and they are too soft. Dirk is soft. Garnett and Pierce, the leaders of this team, are nowhere near soft.

I agree that the Pistons aren't the team to beat but how many combined NBA finals games has your big 3 played? Experience matters, and that is why even if you do win the Eastern Conference you will lose to the Lakers or Spurs. Dallas choked because they are terrible on defense and because Wade played out of his mind. Dirk was far from the reason Dallas lost that series.
