Detroit are still the team to beat because they are the team that has proven to be successful in the Playoffs and they are still near the top. You look at the other teams in the East, there's Toronto and Orlando with a first round exit. Last year's ECF Champs, you know how crap they are. Detroit is the team to beat. Spurs are the team to beat in the West.
They have PROVEN something.
For all you know the Celtics Big 3 could like choke in the regular season. That's why Dallas wasn't the team to beat last season. It's still San Antonio.

cant agree more. i say boston is the team to beat next year. give the big 3 one more meshing year...most likely brown and cassell's last year too.
i say boston wins next year.
My two scenarios for the finals this year are
Boston-Los Angeles
and
San Antonio-Detroit
those are the four teams that stand out to me.
Phoenix could give the Spurs a run for their money with Hill and Shaq joining to add more defense and experience.
