Re: Celtics vs Jazz (3/14) - 7:30 on CSNHD
Tough loss tonight guys. The Jazz really came out and put forth one of their best games this season. Hats off to the Jazz, they're a solid team.
However tonight really showcased to me how important Ray Allen is. Ray commands a great deal of respect from teams, even if we all agree/disagree he's the third most valued player on the team. (At Least Thats What I Use To Think) In a game like this though Rays stroke would of probably made him the most valued member of the big 3. The Celtics are truly built around the big 3. As much as they are unselfish, and incorporate team ball. And play great team defense. This team still needs' its 3 stars to either all shine at the same time ( Those Games have been amazing!) or have all three stars to be playing so that one can step up and capitalize on the team the celtics are playing. In reality as I start to watch the Celtics more, and more over the season. It's true KG is the Celtics Superstar MVP etc player. However what I'm realizing is that Ray, Paul, and KG are all equally important to the Celtics winning. I no longer rank any of the three over any of the others. These 3 on the floor together are simply like the greatest superstar in the league who will find a way to win. Celtics need all 3 to succeed.
All that being said, i realize the Celtics have won with out KG, and Ray in the lineup. But as the playoff stretch approached, and when the playoffs start. Games, are going to be played at level x 10.
Anyways i digress.. Right now seems like a perfect time for the Celtics to start another 10 game winning streak. Especially since they have their western conference road trip coming up.
And tonights games didnt exactly shape up the way I was hoping.
