Well, on that play, the pass was nearly the entire length of the floor. Even if the other four Celtics had taken off, there still wouldn't have been anyone for Tony to pass to. It was basically up to Tony to finish the play. I really don't know why he wouldn't finish. At the very least, he'd get fouled and go to the line. There's no way anyone would've been in position to take a charge and a clean block would've been unlikely.

You can't blame the loss on the refs, but they sure made it a lot harder for the Celtics to gain any sort of momentum. Every time Violet calls a Celtics game, it seems to be called poorly. It's pretty consistent. All refs make bad calls, but she seems to rarely favor the Celtics. It's a little suspicious.
