I imagine that most fans go through this when their team kind of starts rebuilding... You wonder, if they don't care, why should the fans care?
well its not hard for fans who have been watching the nets when they sucked. I became a fan when nets went to playoffs against bulls and still was a fan when marbury was a net. I somehow found excuses to root for them. There were alot of random things like Kendall Gill always looking like he will be healthy during off season, and Johnny Newman maybe averaging more than 12ppg. It was fun speculating.
