Re: The RPI

I thought the committee did a good job this year, and I really don't have any complaints. It's really not all that uncommon for mid-majors to get snubbed with an RPI in the 30s. Even Missouri St. missed a few years ago with an RPI of 21. They view the mid-majors and the BCS schools differently, because a BCS school with an RPI of 32 would never not get a bid. Dayton went 9-9 in the A10, while Illinois St. didn't beat anyone out of conference, and was unable to beat Drake in three chances.
