Yea, they both hate each other.

Also, no matter what, both teams come to play when they play each other. No matter how banged up, or how bad your team is that year, or how good the other is, they will usually be close, physical games.

Also, the fans hate the opposing team's fans and team players. It will always be sold out for a Laker game.

Through the years, Portland and LA have had a rivalry for sure. 70s with Walton, early 90s and 2000.
