It is pretty much about the arrogance you just demonstrated in your post. Until the showtime era, the Lakers has always been a blue collar team. Then with Riley and crew the arrogance and entitlement blossomed. When Phil Jackson came abord with Shaq and Kobe the arrogance level was taken to an all time high. Mean while, every other team in the west has been perceived as the blue collar team, and Portland has certainly been the epitomy of a blue collar team. In a word, ARROGANCE.
