and it's more like.. it's likely two teams in the same conference will be above .667 winning record. look at th eastern conference, boston and detroit are both well over .667.
last year you have phoenix at .744 and dallas at .817.
the year before that you have dallas and san antonio each respectively at .732 and .768.
the year before that, both dallas and san antonio were above .667 as well... and in the east two teams were nearl .667 as well (miami/detroit).
and i don't get it, why would it be less common that the team that has played 3 more games than the other have 2 more wins and 1 more loss? if anything, that's what you should expect.. because they win 2/3 games.

So in three years you have three sets of teams that won more than two-thirds of their games and you call that common? Meanwhile you only have 2 teams in the league right now that have played 3 more games than another team and you call that common? I've seen this happen once earlier this year and never in the previous four or five seasons in either basketball or baseball.
