get your facts stright here, Duke did NOT win in 1990, they only won 1991 and 1992. I think in 1990 it was UNLV or that might be 1989, but I do know that DUke only won 1991 and 1992.
however to possibly win 3 post season championships in a row no matter it is NCAA or NIT combined would be impressive.
I thought it was impressive that South Carolina won the NIT 2 years in a row
