Do you think John Paxson has done a good job?
we clearly don't share the same definition of "good".....however, FWIW, (although i know i'll regret this circle jerk) within the constraints of ownership, he's done ok; i've been ok with his draft picks, and i don't pine in the least for curry or chandler, despite the meaningless PER stat you seem to think is so crucial to winning.

i did feel skiles was a good coach, but his mysterious (mis)handling of chandler, exacerbated by his total disdain for thabo sefolosha, who for whatever reason (maybe because he could actually play) is showing signs of being a nice player, clearly outlived his usefulness. IF he quit on the team, i'd like to know why, but it's clear whatever pixie dust he sprinkled on them had worn off. paxson's lifetime achievement record isn't stellar, but his record hardly is a reason for his dismissal. it's obvious reinsdorf feels the same. any enmity toward paxson needs to start with reinsdorf. profits first, championships second; that's cool too, i expect them to start with a better product than this years version.

wallace was a miscalculation, (i'm sure he couldn't have sold you a bad bill of goods, though huh?) but i'm certain that there were more managerial voices giving input that sealed the deal. to his credit, he purged wallace upon the recognition he wasn't going to get the team where it was projected (EC finals contender; much like the #3 team in the east from days gone by....lmao)

Do you have faith in his leadership going forward? Why or why not?
the short answer is yes, with the caveat that he revises some of the roster. in principal, his basketball philosophy is sound and is in concert with the SA's and other upper echelon teams. whether or not he can salvage any of the remainder players remains to be seen. teams don't just fire GM's for one regressed season or their failure to reach the finals by X date; only irrational fans with a sense of entitlement do that. season's tickets don't equate to entitlement.
