Game Thraad, Bucks at Bulls, 7::30, UC
Quote:
TEAMS: Bucks (24-47) vs. Chicago Bulls (28-44).
WHEN: 7:30 tonight.
WHERE: United Center, Chicago.
BROADCASTS: TV - FSN Wisconsin cable. Radio - AM-620.
ABOUT THE BULLS: Interim coach Jim Boylan thinks he has a chance to retain his job beyond this season based on the fact that general manager John Paxson has said his evaluation of Boylan will go beyond victories and defeats. Boylan would like to have a training camp with the team to get organized and show he has some authority rather than carrying the interim label. "It makes it more difficult to handle the guys who have long-term contracts than when players understand that guy is going to be around and be your coach for a while," Boylan said.
PLAYER TO WATCH
DREW GOODEN, Bulls
He set season highs for points (31) and rebounds (16) Tuesday night in a victory over Atlanta at the United Center. He has recorded a team-high nine double-doubles since being obtained in a trade with Cleveland on Feb. 21. Gooden thinks he can have games like that regularly. "I possess the tools," he said.
