The next Carmelo sounds about right, gifted scorer but lacks contribution or effort in a lot of other areas. I don't see him ever being the #1 option on a team going deep into the playoffs year after year. He might make it to the WCF or even the Finals once or twice, but not perennially without a better all star on his team.
