As for him being inconsistent, lets break down his season
1) As of last April, Joe had zero post moves and absolutely horrible foot work
2) As the season started, Joe was still learning a completely new position and how to play in the post while the entire WVU team was learning how to play a different offensive system
3) He suffered a significant groin injury that severely limited his effectiveness
4) He got healthy, he improved his post game and the WVU team started to get what Huggins wanted them to do.
This is not the case of someone getting hot at the right time. Rather it is the result of a very methodical progression.

and the last 4 games of the year were how many steps backwards?? gerald henderson was going in circles around him....roy hibbert was taking him to school, i understand he's smaller, but in the NBA plenty of players have to guard bigger guys......he had a great big east tournament, i'll let him slide on the GTown game since he was probably tired......and the consistency is nowhere to be found as he once again disappeared again in the NCAA Tournament.......
