Agreed.
That said, McMillan started the year with a plan to run more, especially with the second unit. Presuming that Fernandez is part of that second unit and that Roy, if he's involved, is at SF with guys like Outlaw, Aldridge and/or Oden or Przybilla out there (to get the rebound and start the break), that plan work really well next season, especially since they'd be running against other team's second units most or the time.
