on a personal level, I've got no problem with polygamy. if you really think you're life will improve with an extra wife, be my guest. frankly, I think it just sets the guy up to be on the losing side of a lot of arguments.

sociologically, though, I don't think it's healthy. it means a few men hording a disproportionate share of the hotties. any society that sets up a scarcity of women is only asking for trouble from its lonely single men.

people go on about Islamo-fascism, but I think it has as much to do with 20 year old guys with no money and little hope of having sex. they should call it hornypoverty-fascism. the scariest people I've ever met are not getting laid and have nothing to lose.

which, by the way, makes me really worry about China in another ten years.
