Re: Free Agents
Delfino is a tough decision. For 3 mill or less I think its a no-brainer to keep him, but if it takes 4mill + then you have to factor in just how much he does each night to help us win.
He handles the ball extremely well, rebounds well, can create for himself and others fairly well, and defends pretty well. But his shot is either hot or cold and he doesn't always make an impact on the game.
One thing to consider with Delfino is that this was his first year of playing major minutes in the nba. Could there be a big improvement awaiting him in year two? I am leaning toward moving Parker and keeping Delfino because I think Delfino can be more aggressive. And the consistent shooting of Parker may not be missed if Kap starts to be used properly as he was in the playoffs.
Delfino and Kap also had good chemistry during the season, which is a factor.
