You people are really viewing Tim Duncan in a different light from me. I see Duncan as a basketball lifer. A lot of you are saying he's earned enough, he has other things to do, etc. etc. But I see a guy that has a passion for basketball. Basketball has always come first for Tim Duncan, not movie deals not commercials not endorsements... Tim Duncan plays basketball. I could see him in the league until he's 38, health permitting. And not because of some inane chase for records or more titles or out of disillusionment that he's still one of the best at that age... but because he loves the sport of basketball and playing basketball is what Tim Duncan does.
