Man... that'd be a huge risk if we took him on. I don't think he's the second coming of Darius, though.

I see 'Melo as that type of player that KP talked about earlier that when you develop a culture, that players will adjust to it and behave.. much like Randy Moss with the Pats.
With that said, I don't think the Blazers have developed that culture yet. Heck, we haven't even made the playoffs yet in awhile. It's tempting however IMO. I don't know if 'Melo is that different of a player than a Rashard Lewis defensively, and we all wanted Lewis last year for Zach.
He is only 24, and a premier scorer in the NBA at SF. I wouldn't give up Roy, Aldridge or Oden for Melo, but if we got him, I wouldn't be up in arms... it'd be crazy if we had our core of Roy/Melo/Aldrige/Oden. It'd be a risk though.
