Re: Sergio Interview: Sounds mad at Nate to me...

Well... I certainly didn't understand the disparity between Jack and Sergio's minutes so I can certainly understand his feelings. I am also not convinced the Rudy will get many minutes next year under Nate. I can give you the quotes already... 'He will not have anything handed to him', 'he is going to have to earn his minutes', 'I'm going to play the players I think give us the best opportunity to win', 'he is going to have to play his way into the lineup' (all while not getting a chance to play) 'he's going to have to improve his defense' etc... etc...

I hope not that isn't the way it goes... but right now I just get the feeling Nate just doesn't like the Euro style of player.

Hasoos do you really think Sergio regressed in his abilities? I think it has more to do with him trying to play how Nate wanted him too... which may not be in his strengths. If you have to set up a play... you've already minimized Sergio's creativity and passing ability. I also think once people saw the tape of what Sergio was being effective with... the pick and role... teams started jumping around it and bumping or otherwise slowing his movement. They were doing the same thing with Roy and it rarely gets called.
