Re: Since Jordan retired which player carried the "best player" torch?

Tim Duncan. Not only was he dominant, not has he won 4 Championships, but he's lead his team to the best winning percentage in all of Professional sports. Two regular season MVP's, 3 Finals MVP's, great on both ends of the floor, great Leader, and in my opinion he has been the best player in the NBA for a long time. This year might be the first year that you can say he's probably not the best player in the NBA since 2003. To me from 2003 until this year he was the best player in the NBA bar none, because he had the most impact on both ends of the court. My vote goes to Duncan.
