I hear you. And I know you have to give to get. As I said, the Nets might well not be interested. By "a fair bit" what I meant was that there were a lot of pieces, not necessarily that they'd like those piece.
I brought it up only because trades pretty regularly happen for reasons that mystify most fans. The Gasol trade is an extreme example but lots of deals happen more for financial reasons than talent reasons. I don't have any idea what the situation is in New Jersey -- I'm guessing they're all kinds of ready to build around Harris. However, Kiki might want to blow everything up (as he did in Denver) in which case....
Also, the players I suggested sending might become "deep bench players" on this team as soon as next season, but I think both Frye and Outlaw were main rotation guys this season and would start on something like half the teams in the league.
If they've got financial troubles taking on LaFrentz, getting cash outright, Frye and Outlaw (both good, young, and relatively inexpensive players), and picks
might interest them. Beyond that, Kiki's track record for brilliant moves can't touch KP's.
Regardless, I'm clear it wouldn't be a fair trade, talentwise.
