I fully understand WHY you used las+t year's stats, but it's still pointless in this discussion. For one, you have no idea w+-+hat those two players numbers would be THIS year. We DO know what Benson's and Johnson's are and we know what Cook's and Nicholson's are too. If you want to go the route you're going, we could bring up Spearman, Staten, and hypothetically project what we think Gibson and Henton would have done for UD too.
Fact is, I used Benson and Johnson because obviously they were out for us after playing half the year so we have a nice sample of what they have done. We also have the sample size for Nicholson and Cook where as we have NONE for the other two players that you want to bring up. I was told there it is "not comparable" yet when I produce the numbers, there's less then 1 ppg and just over 1 rbg difference. I guess that defines, "not comparable".
Using last year's stats would only be valid if Johnson and Benson hadn't played a game all year long.
