I clearly remembering chatting with some Rutgers fans (must've been on USENET) when they left. There were crowing about how it was going to improve recruiting and turn them in a serious player. I guess it worked out for the football team, but it didn't do squat for their BB program. And that's the only sport I really care about.

I doubt the Owls are going to be completely happy playing BB in that conference. They'll compete better than Rutgers ever has, or those mentioned in that article, but they are going to be just another face in the crowd over there.
