Lakers are the polar opposite of the Nuggets, High Energy vs Low Energy. Better pray that Nuggets have an off shooting night, because there's going to alot of open looks for them.
Nuggets are great at home and not so much on the road. I would hate to see an off shooting night for them too. They are one of the worst shooting teams in the league.
Mike D'Antoni addressed the Lakers' chemistry issues before the game and said happiness shouldn't matter ...
"You talk about it and you go forward," Lakers coach Mike D'Antoni said before the game against the Denver Nuggets on Sunday. "I understand it a little bit, but everybody’s got a job to do. The only thing we can ask these guys is play as hard as you can. Whether you’re happy or not, it doesn’t really matter. Play as hard as you can. You don’t have to love each other.
"I’ve been on a lot of championship teams in Europe when there was edges and we didn’t go out to dinner together every night. That is not why we’re losing. We’re losing right now because we don’t have a consistent 48 minutes of basketball. "
Actually it was the Headband who was crying to the media about how guys aren't friends on the team after nobody helped Jordan Hill during a game. Mike D'Antoni had to respond to Headband's comments.
"Those guys on the Clippers team, they really enjoy each other off the court and it shows," Howard said Saturday after Lakers practice.
And how about the Lakers? Do they have that chemistry?
"It's something we have to do to get better," he said. "We have to play like we like each other. Even if we don't want to be friends off the court, whatever that may be, when we step in between the lines or we step in the locker room or the gym, we have to respect each other and what we bring to the table."
Just saw on NBATV that apparently Dwight said that because he and other teammates didn't immediately run to a fallen Hill. Looks like reaching for a story. Dwight took the bait.
Both Kobe & Artest went to go see if Hill was all right when he was down on the floor after Dwight stepped on his ankle while Dwight just stood at the FT without a care in the world.
Denver would be scary if they did not suck so much from the perimeter. Their incompetence from the outside makes it really tough for them to score in the half-court.
hahaha Dwight is such an idiot. He loves that stupid Slap block so much he hit it right to Gallo...what a dumbass. He could have easily just tapped it to a player.
