No idea, it was tweeted out by the VCU Athletic Department.

EDIT: http://thedirectorscup.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/06/June27release.pdf

VCU was 110 nationally, Charlotte 195

Also VCU's other senior Darius Theus hasn't been signed like Troy but has some options:

Also CJ Aiken will play for the Sacramento Kings, Khalif Wyatt for the Dallas Mavericks, and Ramon Galloway for the Denver Nuggets in the NBA Summer League.

Okay, it's a national ranking, but of what, I have no idea. I have serious doubts to the overall quality of it when only 1 school in the A10 received points for Men's Basketball, Saint Louis. And all 8 Ivy League schools finished ahead of all Atlantic 10 schools. Maybe we need to convince Penn or Cornell to join the A10, now.

Juvonte Reddic parlayed his performance at the Amar'e Nike Big Man Skills Academy into an invite to the LeBron James Skills Academy in Las Vegas from July 5th-9th. It's run for the top 20 college basketball players in the country regardless of position. Obviously with Team USA commitments at various levels and different obligations, it may not be a true top 20. However it is the most prestigious Skills Academy run by Nike. Quite an accomplishment for Reddic.

From July 5-8 (6-8 open to Media & Scouts), the nation’s top 80 high school players and top 20 college players will convene in Las Vegas for the annual LeBron James Skills Academy. Featuring many of the elite instructors in the game, the skills academy is hosted by four-time NBA MVP LeBron James for four days of intense skill development work and competition in front of hundreds of members of the media and scouts from nearly every NBA team
Also here's Treveon Graham from the Team USA photo shoot:

Former VCU star Eric Maynor has agreed to a multi-year deal with the Washington Wizards. With DC only being an hour and a half away from Richmond with a heavy alumni base in the area, this is HUGE news for many of our fans.

Eric's coming home in a sense! Closest NBA franchise to Richmond by far.

Treveon Graham was named Team USA's Player of the Game today in their first exhibition game, a 96-60 win over Russian pro club team UNICS. Treveon scored 11 points on 4-7 shooting (2-4 from 3) and grabbed 8 rebounds in 22 minutes (tied with Doug McDermott for most PT on the team).

Fourteen points from Luke Hancock (Louisville/ Roanoke, Va.) led six U.S. players who reached in double figures as all 12 U.S. players scored. Doug McDermott(Creighton/Ames, Iowa) finished with 13 points, and Tyler Haws (BYU/Alpine, Utah) added 12. Tallying 11 points apiece were: Treveon Graham (VCU/Temple Hills, Md.), who also grabbed eight boards to finish as the USA’s player of the game; Will Sheehey (Indiana/Stuart, Fla.); and Aaron White (Iowa/Strongsville, Ohio), who shot a perfect 3-of-3 from the field and 4-of-4 from the free throw line.

Seth Greenberg's 10 best perimeter teams in college basketball this season. VCU is at #9 and the only non-BCS team listed:

Shaka Smart's VCU Rams have one of the more athletic perimeter games in the country. The leadership of Rob Brandenberg, the defensive intensity of Briante Weber and versatility of Treveon Graham make the Rams the front-runner in the A-10. Graham averaged over 15 points a game while grabbing over five rebounds and shooting 36 percent from beyond the arc.

Weber led the country in steal percentage and Brandenberg averaged over 10 points a game in only 24 minutes a contest. Sharp-shooting Melvin Johnson and academic redshirt Jordan Burgess add depth to the Rams' perimeter game.
Here's an article from VCU basketball writer Chris Kowalczyk on Juvonte Reddic at the LeBron Skills Academy. Recent VCU walk-on graduate David Hinton was also there as a summer intern for Position Sports: http://aroundthehorns.wordpress.com...reddic-bet-on-futures-in-las-vegas/#more-7009

VCU coach Shaka Smart said this week that he plans to regularly use 10 or 11 players next season. The Rams — who will be picked to win the Atlantic 10 — will also have the luxury of playing both big or small — something they didn’t necessarily have a year ago when they regularly used 6-5 wing Treveon Graham at power forward. “I think in order to be really good, you have to be able to play both ways,” Smart said. “When we went to the Final Four a few years ago, we could do that. We had the option of being big or small.” The addition of Florida State transfer Terrance Shannon will immediately bolster VCU’s size, but another name to watch is red shirt freshman Mo Alie-Cox. The 6-6, 260 pound Alie-Cox didn’t play last season, but is a bruiser in the paint that could have an impact thanks to his overall physicality.

I think they're still playing, but they're officially out of medal contention. Yogi Ferrell was just shooting them out of games. No D from Team USA in those losses.

Agreed on it being a good experience. Graham has started every game and often times played the most minutes. Bodes well for him as he was the youngest player on the team. Excited to see the progress he makes this off season and I'm glad we get 2 more seasons of him!
