Plays for talented high school team that routinely sends players to Division I programs. Khaliq is a shooter by trade. He has good size and an accurate stroke. Will look to expand his game as he moves into the latter half of his career. Capable of going on runs and stringing together multiple treys in a row.

Khaliq Gant has the ability to be a top 50 player. Gant got a chance to shoot the ball more and be a more intense impact player as a junior at Tabor Academy. He is a name to watch in the 2004 class.

During July 2003, he will be at Peach Jam with the Georgia Stars and at the AAU Showcase and AAU Nationals with Youth Prep Stars.

Khaliq Gant is a 6-foot-2 junior wing guard from Tabor Academy. The Georgia native, who would prefer to play his college ball in a warm weather climate, has a reputation for being a deadly shooter from three-point territory. His game has progressed this season to where he is taking the ball more and more to the rim, and is finishing. This past summer, Gant opted to work on his strength and it has shown in his game. He now is able to finish in the paint against bigger and stronger players, something he wasn't attempting to do a year ago. His bread and butter still comes from the perimeter. He is one of the top shooters in the nation from behind the arc.
