Three former Vols and some other familiar names dotted the list of 23 players invited back after a tryout with the Knoxville Noise, a new American Basketball Association team that will begin play in November.
John Higgins, Jereme Hendrix and Justin Albrecht played college basketball at UT. Hendrix, a forward, was dismissed from the Vols prior to last season after an altercation with a football player on campus. Higgins was UT's point guard 2000-2003, starting all four years. Albrecht, a forward, was with the Vols 2002-04.
