Brooklyn, NY. The ABA Brooklyn Wonders announced today the date for their first open tryout camp to find professional basketball players to fill up 12 roster positions for the 2006-2007 season. New York is home to many talented players and participants should be ready for fierce competition. Location, date and time is as follows:
June 24th and 25th - Manhattan Chelsea Piers Field House (Between Piers 61 & 62) 23rd and Hudson River Park 11am-3pm

Applications must be returned along with a $100 application fee by Wednesday, June 21. The walk-in fee will be $125 and will be accepted only if space permits. All fees are non-refundable. Players must be 18 years or older and out of high school. All players must wear appropriate sneakers, shorts and come ready to play. Attendees will be asked to sign a personal injury waiver and a trainer will be on site in case of medical emergency.
The Wonders will select athletic, intelligent, accountable and passionate ballplayers that will lead them to the ABA Championship Game and on to victory. The Brooklyn Wonders organization is committed to excellence and their players should have the same goals.
