Exclamation UConn-Marquette

Anyone watching this?!?! Marquette up by 20 with 1:46 left! Novak has 39 (a school record) and 16 boards (a school record). Upset city!

I can't believe that...But I guess I can get over my disappointment.Didn't Marquette just get beaten badly by Wisconsin or someone?

Novak finished with 41! Marquette wins 94-79, I think. Welcome to the Big East Mr. Novak.

Re: UConn-Marquette

Wow, that's a huge win. That should get some votes for the Top 25 for Marquette. A win over Cincinatti on Saturday and the team will probably be in the Top 30. Beating the #2 in the nation did that for Tennessee (though they won on the road).

Yeah, they're our *****

Incredible win for the Golden Eagles!! I was out tonight in Milwaukee and everyone was wearing Marquette yellow, just a huge win for the school. I heard LeBron was at the game with his posse (the Cavs play the Bucks at the BC tomorrow night) just having a great time. I love this, just a huge prestige win for Marquette and whatever helps advance basketball in my homestate is amazing. I can't believe Novak had such a great game, he's so one dimensional!! Seems to me if you put Gay on him and tell him to deny the jumpshot and let him drive, he gets completely shut down, but I guess Calhoun didn't do that or it just didn't work.

Yeah, I am the same way. I attend Marquette, but growing up in Wisconsin, I grew up a Badgers fan.

I only root against the Badgers when we play each other.

Last year's Wisconsin/Marquette game was the best game I have ever been too. It was an unbelieable atmosphere.

Re: UConn-Marquette

Yeah, I grew up in Milwaukee and just about every member of my family has some sort of connection with Marquette, hell my mom taught there and we always had tickets during the early-mid nineties with guys like McIlvaine, McCaskell, Pieper, etc. But now that I'm at Madison, I'm red no matter what, even if I end up at Marquette for law.

Re: UConn-Marquette

This is a question for UCONN students. a friend who goes to LSU and I are going to watch the LSU game tommorrow since we don't live too far away. Just was wondering which sections in the civic center are designated as the student section.
