But that's ok. I don't mind you talking about Duke players. Funny you should mention him. I watched a game of his just yesterday. Click here - http://www.cstv.com/cstv/programming/abcd/ He plays for the 76ers. He played all right. I wasn't highly impressed. Hopefully it was just a bad game. |

Re: Taylor King
He reminds me a lot of Trajon Langdon.

Re: Taylor King
He'll have time to learn to defend the four position.
Depending on who Duke brings in, King may not get significant PT until his soph/junior year. He'll have to battle with: 6'7" Jamal Boykin (junior) 6'6" Dave McClure (redshirt junior) 6'8" Lance Thomas (sophmore) and possibly one of: 6'8"(?) Kyle Singler 6'8" Patrick Patterson for time at the 3 or 4 position. McClure, Thomas, and Singler are all will play the 3 or 4 position while Jamal Boykin and Patterson would be 4's in Duke's system. Besides Singler, most of the players he'll compete with are defenders/rebounders/glue guys. In the guard rotation, Duke will be full of slashers and with the exception of Jon Scheyer and maybe Nolan Smith, perimter shooting is not a strength of anyone on this team. This team needs at least one long range bomber and I expect that to be King's role his first 2 or 3 years. |

Re: Taylor King
jaimedun, you probably know more about Duke than me. But I thought Scheyer was touted as the next long range threat in that system.
