Re: Who wins the ACC Tournament?
I'm going to stick with Clemson, since I believe I get 10,000,000 points if they win it.
Apelman sure looks silly for picking Virginia back in October.

Re: Who wins the ACC Tournament?
I'd like to pick someone other than Duke or UNC, but I don't see it happening. I'll go with the Tar Heels. I'm more interested in which team(s) step up and play themselves into the real tournament.

Re: Who wins the ACC Tournament?
Gotta agree with that. If not, I think Clemson can possibly win it.

Re: Who wins the ACC Tournament?
I find it interesting how quickly people have forgotten about Duke. Sure, they lost a couple games during conference play on the road. Even Florida lost three games during conference play on the road last season. They happen. Lawson or not, UNC still has plenty of issues on defense. Don't ignore the Blue Devils.

Re: Who wins the ACC Tournament?
They have been playing better defense though and its not like Duke is a defensive juggernaut either
In the country UNC is number one in Rebounds per game, thats pretty much no second chance opportunities for their opponents.

I just think it's funny that people rank teams practically based on 'this team is better because the other team has lost more recently'.

Re: Who wins the ACC Tournament?
So do you think Duke is a better team than UNC? And in this case I am not ranking them on how many they have lost, I usually base my judgement on talent level, weaknesses and strenghts and such. Duke has no inside presence, struggle on the boards and rely heavily on perimeter shots. That can only take you so far. UNC's biggest flaw is at the guard position. Quentin Thomas is just not a reliable player, Bobby Frasor going down really hit us bad
